CNC PUNCHING/
LASER CUTTING
Laser cutting is a precise and efficient method of cutting sheet metal with the use of a high-powered laser beam. At Smettal, we utilize state-of-the-art laser cutting technology to achieve exceptional accuracy and intricate detailing in our fabrication projects. The process involves focusing a concentrated beam of light onto the metal surface, which melts, burns, or vaporizes the material along the desired cutting path. This results in clean, burr-free edges and allows for the creation of complex shapes and designs with minimal waste.

CNC
BENDING
CNC (Computer Numerical Control) bending is a method used to bend sheet metal into various shapes and angles with a high degree of accuracy. At Smettal, we employ advanced CNC bending machines equipped with precision tooling to bend metal sheets according to precise specifications. The process involves clamping the metal between a punch and a die, which are then pressed together to deform the material into the desired shape. CNC technology allows for precise control over the bending process, ensuring consistent results and tight tolerances.

WELDING
Welding is a crucial process in sheet metal fabrication, used to join metal components together securely. At Smettal, we utilize both Arc and TIG/MIG welding techniques, depending on the specific requirements of each project. Arc welding involves creating an electric arc between an electrode and the workpiece, which generates intense heat to melt the metal and form a weld. TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode and a separate filler material, while MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding uses a consumable wire electrode and inert gas to shield the weld area from atmospheric contamination.

POWDER
COATING
Powder coating is a durable and environmentally friendly finishing process used to apply a protective layer of powder onto the surface of sheet metal components. At Smettal, we offer high-quality powder coating services to enhance the appearance, durability, and corrosion resistance of our fabricated enclosures. The process involves electrostatically charging the powder particles and spraying them onto the metal surface, where they adhere electrostatically before being cured in an oven to form a smooth, durable finish.

ASSEMBLY
Assembly is the final stage of the fabrication process, where individual sheet metal components are assembled into finished products or subassemblies. At Smettal, we offer comprehensive assembly services to ensure that all fabricated components fit together seamlessly and function as intended. Our skilled technicians use precision tools and techniques to assemble components with the utmost care and attention to detail, performing quality checks at every step to guarantee the integrity and functionality of the final product.
